Dear Menard Archer:

We have all the targets picked up and stored so the season has 
come to a close.  I feel it was a good year for the club as we ended 
the year with about $2800. plus we purchased new targets throughout 
the year which will continue to help the club.  I would like to thank 
all the club members that helped out working shoots and attending work 
details but I would especially like to thank Steve Whitehurst and Gary 
Sumpter for all their efforts on the range and grounds, as it has never 
looked better.  We decided to hold our first shoot on March 2nd. 
instead of late Feb. and we also will be sending our application to 
ASA (Archery Shooters Association by Dec. 1st. to keep our insurance 
in force plus get a free membership for renewing early).

We canceled the December meeting so our next meeting will be held 
on Jan. 2nd, 2008, at Gilmore's Cafe.  We will be having a potluck at this 
meeting with the club providing the service ware and drinks so please 
plan on attending this meeting.  All members will complete a new 
membership application, sign a new release for 08, and pick some shoot 
dates to work so its an important meeting to make.  Thanks for being a 
Menard Archer, hope your holidays meet and exceed all of your 
expectations and you have a Happy New Years.
