About Our Club: The Menard Archers 3D Archery Club is located near the Central Illinois town of Petersburg. Our membership primarily is drawn from Menard and Sangamon Counties, but archers from all over the state of Illinois come to participate in our public shoots.
2008 Public 3D Shoot Schedule: The Menard Archers Archery Club will be holding a public 3D Shoot and concurrent Sportsman's Swap Meet this SATURDAY, July 12, 2008. In addition to our regular 30-target 3D shoot, we will be hosting our Second Annual Sportsman's Swap Meet. Every outdoorsman has extra hunting and fishing equipment that they no longer use, and now you can come shoot 3D with us and stay a while to buy, sell, or trade your gear. (No firearms, please) You do not need to be a member of the club to sell your gear, and there is no fee for table space! (If you would like to set up a booth or table, contact Marty Stuhmer at 217-741-2842.) Note the date is SATURDAY (not our usual Sunday) this weekend July 12th,and 3D starting times will be from 7 am until 1 pm.
Additional public 3D shoots will be held September 21st and September 28th, and a special benefit shoot is being planned for August 24th! Traveling from out-of-town? Make it a fun weekend and stay at the RiverBank Lodge in Petersburg, which has a "hunting lodge" decorating theme. 2008 Club Meetings: The club meets on the evening of the first Wednesday each month at 7 pm.
